Every two to three years for most Long Island driveways. Any more often than that and you're just stacking sealer; any less and salt, water and UV start doing permanent damage. New asphalt should cure 6–12 months before its first coat.
Stay off it for 24 hours — 48 in humid or cool weather. Foot traffic is usually fine after a few hours. We'll leave barricades and tell you exactly when it's ready.
