We live and work here. Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, Oceanside — most weeks our trucks never leave the South Shore, and if you're on this side of Sunrise Highway we can usually be out to look at your driveway within a day or two.
Coastal air plus winter road salt is brutal on asphalt binder. Sealcoating is the barrier that keeps that chemistry off the surface — skip it a few years down here and you get the gray, pitted look every block has one of.
Flat South Shore lots drain slowly, and every driveway here has spots that hold water after a storm. Water sits in a hairline crack, freezes, and splits it wider each winter. That's why we crack fill before we ever open a pail of sealer.
A lot of the housing stock here is 1950s–60s with original or once-repaved asphalt. Those surfaces are very sealable — but they need honest patching first, and we'll tell you straight if a section is past saving.
Don't see yours? Call — we almost certainly cover it.
Edge and clean the surface · degrease and prime oil spots · hot-rubber crack filling · patch failed sections · two coats of commercial-grade sealer · hand-cut edges · barricades and a 24-hour cure. Line striping available for lots.

Yes. Coastal properties actually benefit most from a regular seal cycle because of the salt exposure.
